Brett brings over a decade of brand identity and design experience to Thinkso. His conceptual strength and bold execution has attracted a diverse clientele of corporate, cultural and nonprofit organizations.

Brett directs Thinkso’s design team, providing creative leadership on every project. Most recently, he led the development of a major campaign for the electronic trading group at UBS and a new recruiting e-brochure for Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft LLP. He is also working with the Global Health Council on marketing collateral. Over the past year, he designed brand identities for Ripco Real Estate, On-Ramps, Armchair Activist, and Cause Effective, as well as a new website for Baruch College. He worked closely with Travelzoo to improve branding across its consumer and trade marketing initiatives, including the first-ever “Tzoos,” for which he created a premium visual identity and event collateral. Brett also co-led the execution of a new identity for Topdot Mortgage, a New York-based national mortgage bank.

Throughout his career, Brett has worked on high profile projects for a variety of clients. For the New York Jets football club, Brett executed a sweeping redesign of the team’s brand identity program, including collateral, stadium signage, website and the introduction of “Gameface,” the team’s first-ever mascot. He has also created brand identities for the Museum of Sex (NYC), Princeton University Athletics and the March of Dimes birth defects foundation. And as a design consultant to United Airlines, he was instrumental in the creation and rollout of a comprehensive new identity program and the development of the brand personality for “Ted,” United’s low-cost spin off. Brett continues to consult for Pentagram Design on the expansion of United’s brand guidelines.

Brett’s work has been widely acclaimed in publications such as Communication Arts, ID, Wired, Metropolis, and The New York Times. His work is included in the permanent collection of SF MoMA and has garnered an array of awards. He has been recognized by the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the Society for Environmental Graphic Design, the New York Art Directors Club, and was twice nominated for a British Design and Art Direction award.

Brett earned a BFA in graphic design from Brigham Young University and has worked at some of the country’s most prestigious design firms, including Landor Associates and Pentagram Design. At Pentagram, among other honors, he was elected Associate Partner in 2003.
